SMART-ER

The ECIU University Research Institute for Smart European Regions (SMART-ER) is a research, innovation and education strong alliance, enabling all member universities to jointly address complex societal challenges under the framework of the UN SDG11 (Sustainable cities and communities).

It is a new model of research and innovation, based on a virtual collaborative environment, that together with diverse stakeholder groups at a local, national and international level, promotes the dialogue with society and will work according to a shared Research and Innovation (R&I) Agenda.

The SMART-ER project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement #10101688.

RESEARCHER MOBILITY FUND

ECIU aims to support collaboration and foster connections between its researchers across all member institutions.

Any researcher willing to visit their colleagues at ECIU member institutions can apply for a grant covering travel and associated costs.
